Hanlan's Senior Lightweight Women's  Four rowed to first place and a gold medal today, Saturday, at the Henley regatta.  Their margin of victory was over six seconds.  Athletes in the winning crew were Kate Sauks in bow, Jennifer Seidel in two seat, Megan Lewicki in 3 seat, and Kaitlin Nay in the stroke seat. Congratulations ladies on a terrific result.

Hanlan boats saw a lot of action today.  The Senior Men's Quad finished second in their heat to advance to Sunday's final.  Crew members were Phil Malinas, Jeff Chadwick, Steve Malinas and Ian Finlay.  This Hanlan quad has had a terrific season this year.

Hanlan's Senior Women's 8 in the 500 metre dash finished third in their heat and advanced to the final held later in the day.  There they finished 6th.

In the Championship Men Single Alex Souter finished second in his heat to advance to Sunday's final.

Phil Malinas and Jonathan Santos had earlier qualified for today's final in the Senior Lightweight Men's Pair where they finished 6th.

There are lots of Hanlan boats to cheer on in Sunday's finals.  If you can be in St Catharines, look for and make a lot of noise for these Hanlan boats:
