Eight Hanlan crews are in their final preparation for the Head of the Charles in Boston next weekend, October 18 and 19, This is the world's largest two-day regatta with about 11,000 competitors who will attract an audience of up to 400,000 spectators who historically cheer quite equally for every crew. Hanlan's events are evenly divided between Saturday and Sunday.
Very best wishes to Hanlan's 25 athletes as they compete against some of the best crews in the world. May the sun shine on you, may the wind be negligible, and may you navigate the best possible line on this winding, difficult course. Good luck to all.
