Club Captain Kelly Brigley announced that effective Thursday May 30 "cold water rules" have been lifted for the summer. This means that a safety boat is no longer required when scullers are out on the water. When rowing without a coach boat, she asks that each crew ensure that the person in bow who is navigating both knows and follows the traffic pattern without fail. She recommends that crews still row with other crews. Singles should always row with a buddy. When on the water without a coach, please enter into the log book the date, time and the boat that you have taken and then sign back in once you have returned.
Here's to a happy summer of rowing!
