May 27. Canada's rowing team has come away from the World Cup Regatta in Lucerne, Switzerland with three medals. Silver medals were won by the men's pair of Dave Calder and Scott Frandsen and by the women's eight. The eight finished a mere .03 seconds behind the winning boat from the United States. The men's eight, which established a new world best time in the qualifying heat, won bronze medals. Congratulations to all. On to the London 2012 Olympics!
